Social Tip #142 - Break Out Of Your Shell
One of the most puzzling things about New York City is that its magnitude seduces the egos of the most beautiful people in the world, and yet also allows the ugliest messes to feel anonymous enough to be seen in public. I had never seen so much beauty and horror before moving here. Sometimes, when I am walking around the city, I see people who could only be described by aborted Shel Silverstein poems like "The Sideways Man" or "The Unfortunate Face Mashing of Chester Chett."

But isn't that what makes this NYC great?
I think you may have written the final verse for the Sinatra classic "New York, New York".
I enjoy walking around NYC and seeing all the trees that gave.
Would I be impolite to mention that , "New York, New York," is a Kander and Ebb song originally sung by Liza Minnelli?
@BrianAlt
Impolite? No. But when you think of the song "New York, New York", do you think of Kander and Ebb or Sinatra? I thought so.
Honestly, I think, "yes, but Liza Minelli sang it first." I'm not a fan of Sinatra.
I'm sure everyone everyone thinks of Liza Minelli when they think of "NY,NY". Sinatra is "NY,NY". Ask ANYONE from New York - specifically Yankee fans. That's right. You know the song that is played at the end of every Yankees win at Yankee Stadium? "New York, New York" by FRANK SINATRA.
Thanks, Mr. Baltimore. I'm from New York.
